Happy May Day - 2016

First set of pictures taken @ April 18 showing panels used too build, building walls.  Some are apparently pre-built off site and then craned into place, in segments.

Second set is another walk around the site.
Note that they are putting in trees in the parking lot area already.
And putting in a trail around the back side.

Finally are some nearby sites:
Holiday Inn Express at former Al Baker's site.
City Vue Apartments at the converted Blue Cross building.
New restaurant in place of Old Chicago.

Building panels:  April 18, 2016

May 1, 2016  Walk around site.
You can't see the downtown Minneapolis Skyline from Pilot Knob/Yankee Doodle intersection anymore.

Water Tower is planed to be removed. Hasn't been used for years, will be replaced by "beautiful Cell Tower"  We will see.

Can't tell if they are still tearing out trees or these a live bare roots going in.

New Hotel at Al Baker's site.

Former Blue Cross Building - Now an apartment building.

Bier Haus replacing Old Chicago.
